As an Individual what defines us is not the number of materialist possessions we have or the title we possess at our offices but the number of admirers we have because of our humility and humane nature. So why is it that as we gain success our humility diminishes?
“Cruelty is an instinct in animals but a choice in Humans – It’s humility that makes us Humane” ~ K Srini

Why is that there is a degree of calmness and a sense of peace for some of us irrespective of the times we live in or what’s happening around us. Well, it is the ability to develop a mindset of Cheerful Disposition among ourselves and believing that we are not in a state of constant ‘war’ with anyone including ourselves and our desires.
A cheerful disposition is an outcome of being ‘contended’ and ‘grateful’ for what we have.
Most of us are cheerful if things are in our favour and life is not throwing any challenges at us. Adversity and challenging times are part and parcel of our life and so are the good times. Then why, can’t we accept the same and build a mindset of cheerful disposition towards both the good and the bad?
The 3 questions/test for us to answer from the prism of Humility test are:
- A smile or a cheerful attitude are infectious, so why is that we wait for someone else to pass it to us, why can’t we do the same?
- When we have the power to change the course by a simple smile why can’t we make it a routine?
- Having a cheerful attitude daily is normal and days as such are welcoming but can be do it during critical / adverse times also ?
