As an Individual what defines us is not the number of the materialist possessions we have or the title which we posses at our offices but the number of admirers we have because of our humility and humane nature. So why is it that as we gain success our humility diminishes ?

Our ability to stay in the ‘Present’ is a gift which we seldom enjoy. We are often caught in the prison of time i.e. either Past or Future.
Past is a dangerous prison when compared to the Future because past often reminds of instances/memories that have left a bad taste in our lives and we very rarely recall the pleasant memories and cherish them. More often it is the grudges, regrets and guilt entrap that restrict us from enjoying the present or flying towards the future. The prison of future is like a daydream and if not controlled and channelized will also act as a prison which does not let us enjoy the present.
The 3 questions/test for us to answer from the prism of Humility test are:
- We often get trapped in our prison of success, failure, or past. We have the option of either to blame others or look forward to freeing us by them.
- Why do we forget that we not only have the power to break free from this prison but also can ensure that we don’t land up in it in the first place?
- Why do we miss the point that time is a continuum and doesn’t stay still? what opportunity we must enjoy now will not last forever and we need to maximize the time by ensuring we do not stay in the prison of past or future
