As an Individual what defines us is not the number of the materialist possessions we have or the title which we posses at our offices but the number of admirers we have because of our humility and humane nature. So why is it that as we gain success our humility diminishes ?
“Cruelty is a instinct in animals but a choice in Humans – Its humility that makes us Humane” ~ K Srini

Growth often brings a feeling that ‘let’s not disturb the apple cart and let’s continue as Is’, thereby being ‘rigid’ and failing to building a momentum and being flexible/adaptable. Being stubborn or inflated with ego, and with lack of flexibility or being aligned to just a few stakeholders often leaves a bad taste and feeling of being distant and arrogant.
The biggest inspiration for us must be the palm/coconut trees along the sea beaches. They ensure that they remain flexible and have the will to change their direction (form) against the gushing winds. Our ability to change form (attitude/mindset/approach) as per the requirement is hallmark of humility which otherwise is being subservient to our stubbornness and ego which prevents it.
The 3 questions/ test for us to answer from the prism of Humility test are:
- Can we change our attitude as per the requirement of different stakeholders in our lives and why be humble to few and arrogant to others?
- Can’t we be a good child, a good parent, a great sibling, a helping human being and so forth and so on at the same time? Why are we being aligned to only a few?
- Why does our ego intercept our lives and stop us from changing our form and do we need to be subjected to it?
