Others are continuously trying to juggle things and running on fumes.<\/p>\n<p id=\"f43d\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\"><strong class=\"qp iv\">Focus.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"59f4\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">The ones who succeed\u00a0<em class=\"rl\">focus on what matters<\/em>\u00a0<em class=\"rl\">the most<\/em>\u00a0while the others have an assortment of clutter.<\/p>\n<p id=\"0090\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Knowingly and mostly unknowingly or due to sheer lethargy, many of us accumulate all kinds of clutter from childhood. This accumulation is gradual.<\/p>\n<p id=\"3912\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">By the time, you hit middle age, this clutter has substantially invaded your life and slowed you down without your knowledge.<\/p>\n<p id=\"e803\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Clutter poses as a major distraction. Our attention is spread thin and rarely a worthwhile progress is achieved.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"354d\" class=\"pt pu iu bg pv pw px ju gs py pz jx gu qa qb qc qd qe qf qg qh qi qj qk ql qm bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\"><strong class=\"an\">Declutter your Life, Work, and Finances<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3 id=\"00f7\" class=\"rm pu iu bg pv gr rn ef gs gt ro eh gu gv rp gw gx gy rq gz ha hb rr hc hd rs bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\"><strong class=\"an\">(1) Identify the energy-takers<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p id=\"f3b3\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js qq qr qs jv qt qu qv gv qw qx qy gy qz ra rb hb rc rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">In my opinion, everything has a shelf life including relationships. If they become stale, you have to disentangle from them.<\/p>\n<p id=\"671f\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Think of that aunt who comes visiting and you can\u2019t wait for her to leave. It could be a friend too who is excruciatingly painful to have around.<\/p>\n<p id=\"5c49\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">These are energy-takers.<\/p>\n<p id=\"452d\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">People, who do not help you grow, or make too many demands of you; are cluttering your life for attention that can be spent better elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p id=\"f79b\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">The way out is to dislodge such relationships.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"845d\" class=\"rm pu iu bg pv gr rn ef gs gt ro eh gu gv rp gw gx gy rq gz ha hb rr hc hd rs bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\"><strong class=\"an\">(2) Physical spaces impact mental health<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p id=\"ff58\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js qq qr qs jv qt qu qv gv qw qx qy gy qz ra rb hb rc rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Keep your surroundings and physical spaces sparkling.<\/p>\n<p id=\"16f3\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">I wanted to buy a new chest of drawers to store my stuff. My better half gently suggested I inventory my cupboard with an open mind to know if one chest of drawers would suffice or\u00a0<em class=\"rl\">if we should buy two<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p id=\"3b34\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">The clutter I had amassed was shocking!<\/p>\n<p id=\"cb8f\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Things I have not used in ages or forgotten they even existed. I gave away bags full of old clothing, towels, bed sheets, and pillowcases, even duvets.<\/p>\n<p id=\"5a7f\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">My cupboard has substantial free space. I am wondering if I should click the Amazon app to fill it up. (Just wondering, not following through)<\/p>\n<p id=\"6200\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Clean spaces enable energy to flow smoothly and keep us calm.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"6f1b\" class=\"rm pu iu bg pv gr rn ef gs gt ro eh gu gv rp gw gx gy rq gz ha hb rr hc hd rs bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\"><strong class=\"an\">(3) Optimize your work life<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p id=\"fc35\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js qq qr qs jv qt qu qv gv qw qx qy gy qz ra rb hb rc rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">I have lists. To-do, to-not-do, important tasks, super urgent ones, planned projects or tasks, repeated chores. You name it.<\/p>\n<p id=\"03bb\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Planning is not everyone\u2019s strong suit and so is the ability to estimate. When you are unable to complete all of them, it creates unwanted stress.<\/p>\n<p id=\"e479\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">You can only do so much in a day.<\/p>\n<p id=\"7291\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">One of the reasons for my endless lists is the delusion that I can do \u2019n\u2019 things on an average day. I can\u2019t.<\/p>\n<p id=\"7148\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">I can manage 1 important activity and 3\u20134 routine maintenance tasks.<\/p>\n<p id=\"a393\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">A completed task is better than 3 scrambled and half-done.<\/p>\n<p id=\"760f\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Now, I have a to-do, must-do, want-to-do list.<\/p>\n<p id=\"77f7\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">My output is way better than before and there are fewer instances of missed targets. Because the number of items on the list is less.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"9086\" class=\"rm pu iu bg pv gr rn ef gs gt ro eh gu gv rp gw gx gy rq gz ha hb rr hc hd rs bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\"><strong class=\"an\">(4) Streamline your finances<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p id=\"ff48\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js qq qr qs jv qt qu qv gv qw qx qy gy qz ra rb hb rc rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">My initial financial management strategy was to invest and forget. Over the years, I have changed it.<\/p>\n<p id=\"4c29\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js qr qs jv qu qv gv qx qy gy ra rb hb rd re yi rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Now I have a detailed sheet of my income, expenses, and investments.<\/p>\n<p id=\"4014\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Every quarter, I review my debt status, the change in my fund position, performance of my investments.<\/p>\n<p id=\"6f22\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Using the data, I analyze the following:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"\">\n<li id=\"785d\" class=\"qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf rt ru rv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">If I can cut down some expenses,<\/li>\n<li id=\"f963\" class=\"qn qo iu qp b js rw qr qs jv rx qu qv gv ry qx qy gy rz ra rb hb sa rd re rf rt ru rv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">move out of investments giving low returns,<\/li>\n<li id=\"5f15\" class=\"qn qo iu qp b js rw qr qs jv rx qu qv gv ry qx qy gy rz ra rb hb sa rd re rf rt ru rv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">invest in something new that is promising and secure,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"2b7b\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">If you are in your 35\u201345, you will be surprised to see how much of such clutter you might have accumulated.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"1b6f\" class=\"pt pu iu bg pv pw px ju gs py pz jx gu qa qb qc qd qe qf qg qh qi qj qk ql qm bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\"><strong class=\"an\">What happens when you declutter certain areas of your lives<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ol class=\"\">\n<li id=\"0d74\" class=\"qn qo iu qp b js qq qr qs jv qt qu qv gv qw qx qy gy qz ra rb hb rc rd re rf sb ru rv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\"><strong class=\"qp iv\">Reduced stress and anxiety.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p id=\"07b4\" class=\"pw-post-body-paragraph qn qo iu qp b js rg qr qs jv rh qu qv gv ri qx qy gy rj ra rb hb rk rd re rf hv bl\" data-selectable-paragraph=\"\">Cluttered spaces and schedules can contribute to feeling overwhelmed and anxious. Cluttered homes harbor dust and allergens.
